During a course that will lead from the barracks of Muy to the wasteland of the Belle of May, passing through the convent of the rue Leva and the former manufacture of tobacco, we will evoke the social and political life of the quarter in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Together we will raise the problems that can be posed, in a highly paupérisé popular neighbourhood, with the completion of a major urban planning operation launched recently by the city of Marseille.
